2 Recipes & Happy Weekend {Eat}
Happy weekend! I just thought I would leave you with 2 recipes for you to try over the weekend. They are garlic mashed potatoes and thai coconut curry shrimp.
My mom made these for dinner last night (I combined them and they were super good together!) and I have leftovers for lunch today. There is such a wide variety of recipes on this site (from drinks to dessert) and being for Weight Watchers, they are healthy and delicious!

My New Obsession {Live}
Currently, I spend all my "free" time on this site. "Free" time being time I should be spending doing other things (like homework, cleaning, etc.) I love all the practical DIY ideas and awesome recipes. I have also been updating my Twitter with quotes from this site. It's good for sharing ideas with people / a place for saving your own ideas for later. Basically, it is a virtual bulletin board. I love the simple, clean design and how practical it is.

Fall is in the Air {Live}
found here
As I drove to work this morning, I noticed all the trees along the road were changing colors and the leaves were blowing across the road. Fall is in the air! So I thought I would share with you some of my favorite things about fall:
- The crisp air
- Pumpkin pie
- Tea
- Pumpkin spice lattes
- Apples
- Pumpkin picking and decorating
- Fall decor
- Big, bulky sweaters
- Falling leaves
- All the beautiful colors
Welcome fall!

This Woman {Live}
I find this woman very inspiring. Not only for her fashion style, but also for her poise and "togetherness."

DIY Tea Storage Jars {DIY}
I recently professed my love for tea and when I saw this DIY on Wit & Whistle, I instantly fell in love. You paint the lids of canning jars with chalkboard paint so you can label and re-label your teas quickly and easily. I store my loose tea in jars anyway and it never occurred to me to paint the lids for labelling (I usually just use a piece of tape and a sharpie). Awesome!

DIY Eyeliner Brush {DIY}
I always see people walking around with the perfect liquid/gel eyeliner. I always wonder how they get such a flawless line. Well my friends, I have the answer. It's an angled eyeliner brush. The whole idea behind it being angled (as you will see in the video) is so you can see where you want the line to go and not have it blocked by your hand.
You can buy them at Sephora for like $25, but I found a handy video on how to make on yourself. You can see it for yourself at the bottom of this post, or here. So I made one myself and here is how it turned out:
Basically, you buy cheap thin paintbrushes (I got mine at Walmart), but it must have a metal ferrel. Then all you do is bend (about a 45 degree angle) the top of the brush with a pair of pliers and voila, you have your very own (cheap) angled eyeliner brush. Watch the video to see more details and also how to apply the eyeliner once you have made your handy brush.

What I'm Loving Today {Live}
- Free time. To spend with family. Go shopping and have coffee with friends.
- Sunshine and warmer weather. Spring has (finally) arrived!
- Lavender pink lemonade. I could drink this stuff by the gallon.
- Going for long power walks. Getting lost in my own thoughts and music and just walking until I can't walk anymore.
- Being able to curl up and read novels and not feeling guilty about not reading textbooks.
- Having time in the morning to lay in bed for a while, eat my breakfast (not inhale it) and have a nice cup of tea out on the deck.
- Wearing flip-flops to show off my soon to be coral colored toe nails.
Summer break, you are simply the best!
